Collaboration with RWU Institute of Electromobility in Weingarten

We are proud to announce the collaboration with the Institut für Elektromobilität (IEM) | RWU Institute of Electromobility in Weingarten (Germany).

During the visit of our headquarter, the project owner Prof. Robert Bjekovic – from the Institut für Elektromobilität (IEM) – met our CIO Ing. Silvio Campigli and the Sales & Project Manager Angelo Di Gregorio to discuss about the very first steps of our collaboration. The main topics will be related but not limited to sustainability, recycling, and bio-resins in order to develop new materials and enter new markets.

Prof. Robert Bjekovic has a deep background in the automotive sector, thanks to his numerous working experiences starting from Daimler AG, going through different research institutes and Universities. Currently he holds the position of Head of the RWU Institute of Electromobility in Weingarten (Germany).

Microtex Composites has always been very attentive to collaborations with important Universities such as Aerospace department of Pisa University, Mechanical engineering department University of Brescia, as well as foreign Universities like Bristol University.
