Behind the scenes
We are inside the sales department and today we meet Elisabetta Magni, sales assistant and long-standing member of staff.
- Hi Elisabetta, how long have you been working at Microtex Composites?
I joined the company in 2000, at the age of 30, after previous work experience in the textile industry: I can really say that, after the one with my husband, this is my most stable relationship!
- What is the most interesting aspect of your job?
On a personal level, the most rewarding thing is the contact with people of different nationalities. At Microtex Composites we work with many different markets and this allows me to use my language skills. On a professional level, the most interesting aspect is the idea of being part of an industrial sector where technology and creativity move in unison and where our Italian character stands out as an advantage.
- What are your main activities?
My main job is to take care of the relationship with the customer, which goes from communicating information about our products (technical details, price offers), to taking orders and shipping the goods: the customer and his needs are our compass.
- Tell us something funny about your work.
One for all: when I talk about my entry into the world of carbon, I always say that I have gone “to the dark side of the force”!
